A NEW CHAPTER FOR SEFTON PLACE
For more than 170 years, Sefton Place has been somewhere people have come together. Once known as Lady Spencer’s House, it has been a home, a school, a hostel and a gathering place, each chapter leaving its mark on this special corner of the Sussex countryside.
When Mark and Caroline Winship first discovered Sefton Place, they saw the opportunity to write its next chapter. They had a vision to honour the character and history of the house while creating something new: a place shaped by thoughtful hospitality, nature, wellbeing and the simple pleasure of bringing people together.

Sefton Place feels wonderfully secluded, yet getting here could not be simpler. We are just minutes from the A27, a short taxi hop or walk from Arundel station, and an easy riverside stroll from the heart of Arundel. Direct trains from London Victoria take around 90 minutes — countryside calm without the complicated journey.
